Saint-Wandrille Abbey offers a number of facilities for those wishing to make a spiritual retreat.
The community does not preach retreats, but it is always possible to ask to meet a brother from the community for an exchange.

Saint-Wandrille Abbey offers you the Clos Saint-Jacques, a dedicated space on the edge of the forest, to organize your seminars in a calm setting conducive to reflection.
The ruins of the former abbey church and the present church are open to the public at all times from Vigils to Compline, except in the middle of the day: from 5:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
From March 21 to the end of June and from September to All Saints’ Day:
Guided tour daily at 3:30 p.m.
Sundays and public holidays: an additional tour at 11:30 a.m.
July and August:
Three tours every day: 11:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
During the 2 months of summer, young men and women from the Jeunes Accueil Fontenelle program make these visits.
During all year:
Group visits by appointment only.

Every year in July and August, the Benedictine community of Saint-Wandrille offers young people aged 18 to 30 an exciting personal, cultural and spiritual experience as volunteer guides at the abbey. They receive on-site training on monastic history, the Rule of St. Benedict and current Benedictine life from a monk, and lead guided tours.
An opportunity to:
- meet the monastic community of Saint-Wandrille, share in its life of prayer and work, and learn more about how it lives
- provide a service by helping to welcome tourists
- have the opportunity to speak in public and share Christian art and culture
- enjoy a place and setting charged with beauty and spirituality
Practical information:
Stays are for a minimum of 10 days. Accommodation is provided by the community. Return travel is entirely the responsibility of the young volunteer guide.

By car:
Take the A13 freeway, exit 25 Bourg-Achard. Then follow signs for Pont de Brotonne.
After crossing the bridge, take the first right to the traffic circle.
Take the second exit off the traffic circle and bear left onto the first road.
By train:
The nearest train station is Yvetot, 15 km from the Abbey.
Then take a cab.
The ROBERT cab offers a package for Abbey guests who explicitly request it when booking their journey.

Train and bus:
Take the train to Rouen, then take bus line 30 from the bus station and get off at “Saint-Wandrille-le-Port”. Follow the road in the direction of the bus and take the first right. It’s about a kilometer long until the Abbey
From Le Havre, take bus no. 20 to Caudebec-en-Caux, then bus no. 30, getting off at “Saint-Wandrille-le-Port” station. Cross the main road, and take the road opposite. It’s about a kilometer long until the Abbey
