Saint-Jacques Guesthouse

Saint-Jacques guesthouse, located close to the monastery, is intended to welcome groups who ask to come here for times of recollection, retreat and reflection.

L’Saint-Jacques guesthouse is a quiet place for reflection. It is designed to welcome groups of young people or adults, families and seminars (associations, companies, etc.).

 

To enable groups with limited means to spend a special time at this hotel, groups with greater means are called upon to show their solidarity.

Youth groups

 

The housekeepers take your bookings and are on hand to help you throughout your stay, and help you check out before you leave.
You are welcomed on arrival and housekeepers remain available throughout your stay.

For your activities

 

You’ll be close to the abbey: mass and services with the community, visits, meeting a monk…

A chapel is at your disposal, ideal for times of prayer, praise vigils and adoration.

3 meeting rooms are available:

  • A large room for up to 50 people for activities.
  • Smaller rooms for work groups (between 10 and 15 people).
  • All are equipped with large screens (65″).

 

There’s also a terrace with tables and chairs, and a garden.

 

Finally, the forest adjoins the guesthouse.

Your accommodation

Nine 6-person dormitories for young people. Shared toilets and showers are available on the same floor.
3 rooms with shower and sanitary facilities are available for accompanying persons.

Catering

Several formulas are available:

  • Total autonomy in the management of your meals;
  • Or a meal from a catering company.

Saint-Jacques Guesthouse

 

Located close to the forest, Saint-Jacques guesthouse offers:

  • A room for the parents, with sanitary facilities and showers in the rooms;
  • One or two dormitories (6 and 4 beds) for children;
  • A kitchen and a dining room, so that you can live independently your time near the abbey;
  • A chapel for family prayer.

Saint Ansbert guesthouse

In the heart of the village, close to the monastery, the abbey offers you a house with garden, equipped with:

  • a parents’ bedroom;
  • an 8-bed dormitory for children;
  • a large kitchen, dining room and living room…

for totally autonomous stays.

Adult groups

A couple of housekeepers will welcome you on behalf of the monastic community. They will help you organize your seminar, welcome you and accompany you throughout, making your stay as comfortable as possible.

19 rooms are available, 16 for couples and 3 for singles, 2 of which meet PRM (People with Reduced Mobility) standards. All are equipped with shower and toilet facilities.

There are also 9 dormitories for 6 people, with shared bathrooms and showers available on the same floor.

The chapel is open to those who wish to take time for meditation and prayer.
